Boys' Haven was founded by the Beaumont Optimists Club in 1945 in a small house in downtown Beaumont. Originally, Boys' Haven was a home for children whose families were in financial difficulty. For 60 years, Boys’ Haven has provided a safe, stable, loving home to boys from southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana. They believe "Every Boy Deserves a Home" and have struggled to keep that dream alive for all young men who need their help.
