The People’s Burn Foundation presented by our SeneSister, Donetta Huffman. Donetta’s recommendation and personal involvement brought us to the Brave Hearts in Indiana. Brave Hearts is a psychological, rehabilitative place where severely burned women and children...primarily young burn survivors are inspired to find and experience a real identity they can take home. Through trust and character building activities, the participants are gently urged to experience achievement that can only mirror personal triumph. The Brave Heart’s counselors are assisted by fire fighters, paramedics, and adult burn survivors to ensure each individual receives the much needed attention.
